This feature will be rolling out across Microsoft Teams Desktop and Web for Channels 2.0 in English – US markets only. Non-US tenants may have noticed a temporary loss in the ability to upload an image. For tenants who do not have access to Designer, the ability to upload an image will be made available again in early March 2024. The release is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 183785. The rollout will begin in early November and is expected to be completed by mid-November 2023 for Targeted Release and by mid-January 2024 for Worldwide release.
Updated March 11, 2024: We are not releasing this feature to GCC, GCC-H and DoD at this time and apologize for any inconvenience. We will communicate via Message center with a new timeline when available.
