We?ve identified an issue with five methods belonging to the https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet/api/microsoft.sharepoint.soapserver.webpartpageswebservice?view=sharepoint-server WebPartPageWebService Application Programming Interface (API) that could cause impact to data integrity. These methods are https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet/api/microsoft.sharepoint.soapserver.webpartpageswebservice.addwebpart?view=sharepoint-server AddWebPart, https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet/api/microsoft.sharepoint.soapserver.webpartpageswebservice.addwebparttozone?view=sharepoint-server AddWebPartToZone, https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet/api/microsoft.sharepoint.soapserver.webpartpageswebservice.savewebpart?view=sharepoint-server SaveWebPart, https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet/api/microsoft.sharepoint.soapserver.webpartpageswebservice.savewebpart2?view=sharepoint-server SaveWebPart2, and https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet/api/microsoft.sharepoint.soapserver.webpartpageswebservice.getwebpartpageconnectioninfo?view=sharepoint-server GetWebPartPageConnectionInfo. As a result, we are planning to retire these methods. Note: If your organization is not utilizing these methods you can safely disregard this message.
