The Edge management service in Microsoft 365 admin center is rolling out a new feature for automatic profile switching. IT admins can configure profile switching behaviors for end users to enforce context separation between work and personal browsing. The preview began on February 21, 2024, and will complete within a week. The feature will be available worldwide from late March 2024 to early April 2024. To manage automatic profile switching controls, Global admin or Edge admin access is required. Opt into a targeted release to enable the preview. The Microsoft Edge management service is a new, dedicated, and simplified management experience for Microsoft Edge in the Microsoft 365 admin center. Controls for automatic profile switching in the Edge management service has begun rolling out for preview. This new feature allows IT admins to configure profile switching behaviors for their end users, helping enforce context separation between work and personal browsing.
