Windows 11, version 22H2 - also referred to as the Windows 11 2022 Update - is now available for eligible Windows 10 and Windows 11 devices. This is the first major update to Windows 11, offering important new features designed to keep your organization safe in an ever-changing threat landscape without compromising the Windows experiences that help end users collaborate.
We recommend that you begin targeted deployment now, as part of your regular Windows Update motion, to validate that your apps, devices, and infrastructure work as expected with the new release. When will this happen:
For commercial organizations, availability of Windows 11, version 22H2 begins today through familiar channels, such as Windows Server Update Services (WSUS), Windows Update for Business, and the Volume Licensing Service Center (VLSC). It is also available for Windows 365 and Azure Virtual Desktop.
