Details:

Users that launch a Power Apps app without sufficient entitlement to run the app are prompted to start a trial. Currently, when these trials expire, users are prompted to extend their trial without any limitation to the number of times the trial may be extended. Beginning mid-January 2022, users will be limited to three (3) Power Apps trial periods.

How does this affect me?
Users without sufficient entitlement to run your apps will be limited to three (3) Power Apps 30-day trial periods. Trials initiated after the introduction of this change will count toward reaching the limit; existing trial periods started by a user prior to the introduction of this change will not count against this limit.

What action do I need to take?
No action on your part is required.

You can review which users have trial licenses using the Power Apps Admin PowerShell cmdlet: Get-AdminPowerAppLicenses and review which users actively run apps in Power Platform Admin Center Analytics.

For users actively using Power Apps and they only have a trial license, you may consider purchasing a license to ensure they can continue to run their Power Apps.
