After further review, we are not able to continue rolling this out at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience. Introducing a new feature that brings interactive agents into your Teams meetings and 1-on-1 calls. Engage with agents as a group or privately, with zero state prompts and history support for seamless interactions. Currently, only agents built on Copilot support sessions, meaning they can remember the context of previous interactions within the same session for more relevant responses. Custom agents do not yet have session support. All agents from BizChat/Copilot Studio are now available for use in your meetings and calls. This feature allows secure testing and iteration, inviting colleagues for feedback without affecting sensitive data or production channels.

Imagine you're hosting a meeting in a large conference room. Traditionally, you'd have a few colleagues taking notes, others handling specific questions, and maybe someone stepping out to gather additional information if needed. Now, think of Microsoft Teams' new feature as a team of digital assistants in that room, ready to help you in real-time.
These interactive agents, built on Microsoft's Copilot technology, are like having personal assistants who can remember the context of your conversation during a meeting or call. For example, if you ask a question during a meeting, the agent can recall what was discussed earlier in the session to provide a more accurate and relevant answer. It's similar to having a colleague who remembers the entire meeting and can remind you of what was said earlier, ensuring that your conversation stays on track.
However, just like a new team member who is still learning the ropes, custom agents currently don't have the ability to remember past interactions within the same session. They can assist you, but they won't have the context of previous discussions just yet. This feature is still in development, but it's a step towards making these digital assistants even more effective.
Additionally, you can think of these agents as secure interns who can help test new ideas and gather feedback without risking any sensitive information. You can invite colleagues to interact with these agents, allowing you to refine their capabilities without affecting your main operations.
In essence, Microsoft Teams is introducing a way to make your meetings more interactive and efficient, much like having a dedicated support team at your disposal, ensuring that your discussions are as productive as possible.
