Office apps installed via MSI (Windows Installer) and Click to Run (C2R) on the same computer is not a supported scenario. IT Pros and end users needed to first uninstall MSI Office apps, before installing C2R. Starting with the March Semi-Annual Channel - Targeted (SAC-T) release of Office 365 ProPlus, the C2R installer can be scripted to automatically remove old MSI Office apps prior to installing Office 365 ProPlus.
