Imagine you're running a law firm or managing a team, and you've asked your assistant to gather some important information for a case or project. After they complete the task, they send you a quick message to let you know whether they found everything you needed or if there were any issues. This is similar to what Microsoft Viva is doing with its new feature for Viva Insights Analysts.

In this context, the "assistant" is the Viva Insights system, and the "message" is an email notification. When an analyst runs a query using Advanced Insights, they will receive an email that tells them if the query was successful or if there were any problems. This is helpful because it keeps the analyst informed without them having to constantly check back on the system, much like how you wouldn't want to keep asking your assistant if they've finished their task.

The feature works for both custom queries and Power BI reports, which are tools analysts use to gather and visualize data. So, whether the analyst is looking for specific data points or creating a report, they will be notified of the outcome. This can save time and ensure that the analyst can quickly address any issues or move forward with their work once they know the query status.

In summary, this new feature acts like a helpful reminder or update from an assistant, ensuring that analysts are kept in the loop about their data queries, much like how you would want to be kept informed about the progress of important tasks in your office.
