Improved SharePoint Tab and new SharePoint Pages Tabs allow users to paste link to tab pages & lists in Teams Channels |
Teams users will now be able to add SharePoint content as a tab in their Teams channels using the new SharePoint Pages and SharePoint Lists tabs. These tabs provide an improved experience to pick the right page or list from their sites, and if the page or list is not part of the same team site, users can go ahead and paste the link to any modern SharePoint page or list to add it as a tab to their Teams channels. |
We are making improvements to the SharePoint tab in Teams to help users easily find the pages & lists that you want to tab. Now, you can also paste a link to a page or list from any team-site to tab it in your channels. We are also introducing a new "SharePoint Pages" tab in Teams specifically focused on allowing users to find pages and news posts or paste a link to them from any team-site in order to tab them in Teams. This feature has no impact on page or list permissions. Users who did not have access to that page/list before it was added as a tab will continue to be unable to access it in Teams. |

We see lots of cases where configuration of our protection stack has enabled malicious content to be inadvertently delivered to end users. We?re working on a few features that will help address this problem. Our first phase includes Honoring detonation verdicts. All too frequently, URLs and files that have been flagged as malicious are allowed through to the inbox due to transport rules and domain allows. We?re updating our filters to ensure that malicious files and URLs are not delivered regardless of configuration, unless manually overridden. |
