Summary:
New Windows 365 gallery images will replace current optimized images in mid-August 2024. Organizations using "OS Optimizations" images should transition to the new images to ensure successful Cloud PC provisioning. Current optimized images will show a warning in mid-July and become unsupported in mid-August. Audit events are enabled in the new images.

Details:
As mentioned in MC800490, we have recently released new Windows 365 gallery images for Windows 10 and Windows 11, available in the Azure Marketplace and when creating or editing provisioning policies in the Microsoft Intune admin center. To simplify provisioning management and ensure consistent policy settings for Cloud PCs, the new images now include the same optimizations found in the gallery images with pre-installed Microsoft 365 Apps. To achieve these goals of simplification and consistency, we will be removing the current optimized gallery images in mid-August 2024. At that point, these images will no longer be available for new or existing provisioning policies.
