Details:

Updated February 1, 2024: To ensure that your organizational data is protected, commercial data protection has been turned on in Copilot by default for Microsoft 365 F3 users unless you had previously disabled its service plan (“Commercial data protection for Microsoft Copilot”). Users must sign in to Copilot with their work accounts to receive commercial data protection.
No action is required to keep commercial data protection turned on for your users.
If you would like to turn commercial data protection off, you must disable the service plan. By turning commercial data protection off, your organizational data may be inadvertently leaked. We do not recommend turning commercial data protection off in Copilot.
Copilot user adoption materials can be found here: Microsoft Copilot
As announced in MC689933, Bing Chat Enterprise has been renamed to Microsoft Copilot. It is now generally available. Copilot is available to all users, but for users signed in with a work account (Entra ID), Copilot offers the same commercial data protection that was previously available as part of Bing Chat Enterprise and is still provided at no additional cost.
The Copilot service plan is now also available for Microsoft 365 F3 licenses. Commercial data protection will be turned on by default for users with these licenses in early February 2024 unless you disable the service plan prior to that date.
Bing Chat Enterprise eligibility is expanding to Microsoft 365 F3 licenses. It will be available at no additional cost.
[When this will happen:]

Timing:
Rolling out late November: The Bing Chat Enterprise service plan (Bing_Chat_Enterprise) will be available for Microsoft 365 F3 licenses.
Early February: It will be turned on by default for your users unless you have set the service plan to 'disabled'.
