Details:
Updated May 25, 2023: We have updated the rollout timeline below. Thank you for your patience.
We will soon be releasing a feature for Microsoft Teams users that will allow your meeting participants to join from some non-Teams applications or devices, depending on your guest join settings when you send a Microsoft Teams meeting invite. These participants will join as guests and all of the guest settings applied by your organization will apply for these guest participants.
Benefits:
Your users, associates, and customers can join Teams meetings from non-Teams devices through certified CVI providers. If you allow guests to join your Teams meetings through a browser, your guests will also be able to join through supporting CVI providers.
This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 120855
[When this will happen:]
We will began rolling out in May and expect rollout to be complete by late June (previously late May).
