The below message applies to tenants with Teams Room Devices. Please disregard if your organization is not utilizing Teams room Devices.
We are making some changes to OOBE (out of the box experience) for Teams Rooms! Cortana Voice Activation will be enabled by default. We are changing the OOBE flow to include a screen to request your Cortana voice activation acknowledgement.
NOTE: The setting will be on by default but if desired, IT admins can decide to opt out at that moment by switching the toggle off.

We expect this rollout to begin in late January and we expect the rollout to be completed by early February.
