Admin impact, New feature, Updated message, User impact

Updated July 22, 2021: To those of you who provided feedback, thank you for taking the time to share your opinions! Based on your input, we are adjusting our approach to address the concerns.
Please note the following changes to the plan:
We will not be releasing the promotion of the Microsoft Outlook Extension for Edge to our commercial customers.
The extension remains available in the Edge Add On store for those who choose to install it. We encourage you to recommend the extension to your users if you believe they will find productivity value in its use.
The Microsoft Outlook browser extension brings you the power of mail, calendar, contacts, and tasks using an icon in Microsoft Edge. Quickly access your Outlook work account or your or Hotmail account without switching to another tab or app.
We recognize the feedback that most admins would like any promotion of the Outlook Extension to be “opt-in.” We will consider such an approach for the future.
In the meantime, you do not need to take any action. The previously planned promotion will not be shown to your users at this time.
***Original Message center post below for reference***
This new release will enable some Windows 10 users, who are using Outlook on the web or Outlook for Windows, to see a clickable recommendation to visit the browser extension page for Outlook in Edge where they can choose to install the extension. This notification will be displayed in any Windows browser (i.e., Edge, Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, etc.) and in Outlook for Windows.
Note: If you do not want your users to see the recommendations for the new Microsoft Outlook Extension for Edge, you can opt-out of these for your organization.
Note: The recommendations for the new Microsoft Outlook Extension for Edge will not be available to Microsoft 365 Government customers (GCC) at this time.
