In January 2021, trainable classifiers will be generally available in "https://docs.microsoft.com/microsoft-365/compliance/manage-information-governance" Microsoft Information Governance for use in auto-apply retention policies and "https://docs.microsoft.com/microsoft-365/compliance/communication-compliance" Communication compliance to monitor language in emails and chats. In MC192539 (October 2019), we announced that Microsoft 365 Compliance center would soon support machine learning classification, a data classification tool used to identify document categories based on file content.
