On March 26, 2020 Microsoft https://cloudblogs.microsoft.com/dynamics365/bdm/2020/03/26/resources-and-support-for-our-global-customers-impacted-by-covid-19/>announced a number of measures across Power Platform and Dynamics 365 in support of individuals and organizations around the world affected by the ongoing COVID-19 crisis. In addition to that, we also deferred (MC208085) several previously communicated license transitions and technical enforcement deadlines to allow customers ample time to prepare. With those deadlines now fast approaching, we are reaching out to remind you of key dates and available resources. This communication is meant to provide you with advance notice of these deadlines so that you can take appropriate action: Dynamics 365 Dynamics 365 storage & prod/non-prod instances: Existing Dynamics 365 customers can continue to renew their existing storage and production/non-production instance use rights through December 31, 2020 (extended from June 30, 2020). Starting January 1, 2021, all renewing customers will need to transition to the new model. In the meantime, Dynamics 365 customers can use their existing storage and production/non-production instances. See more info https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/capacity-storage>here. Dynamics 365 portals: Existing Dynamics 365 customers can continue to renew with their portal use rights through December 31, 2020 (extended from June 30, 2020). Starting January 1, 2021, all renewing customers will need to adhere to the new portal licensing use rights. See more info https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/powerapps-flow-licensing-faq#portals>here. Dynamics 365 Plan customers: Renewing Dynamics 365 Plan, Customer Engagement Plan, and Unified Operations Plan customers can use qualifying offers to transition through June 30, 2021 (extended from June 30, 2020). To learn more about our updated Dynamics 365 packaging model please go https://cloudblogs.microsoft.com/dynamics365/bdm/2019/07/25/accelerating-innovation-with-dynamics-365-and-the-power-platform/>here. CSP and Web Direct auto-renewal extension All Dynamics 365 Plan (Dynamics 365 Plan, Customer Engagement Plan, and Unified Operations Plan) customers will auto-renew through Dec 31, 2020 (extended from June 30, 2020). Prior to December 31, customers must create a transition plan to the individual app licensing model to continue using Dynamics 365. See more info https://dynamics.microsoft.com/en-us/pricing/>here. Dynamics 365 Team Members: Existing Dynamics 365 customers who acquired the Team Members license prior to October 1, 2018 can continue to renew their existing Team Members subscription through December 31, 2020 (extended from June 30, 2020). Starting January 1, 2021, all renewing customers will need to transition to the new Team Members license. Technical enforcement for Team Members Technical enforcement for Dynamics 365 Team Members licenses purchased or transitioned after October 1, 2018 will come into effect on January 31, 2021 (extended from September 30, 2020). See more info https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/get-started/team-members-license>here. Power Apps and Power Automate Power Apps P1 and P2, and Power Automate (previously Microsoft Flow) P1 and P2 plans will no longer be available for purchase, including via auto-renewal, after December 31, 2020 (extended from April 30, 2020). Customers with these plan licenses that have renewals falling on or after January 1, 2021 will need to transition to the Power Apps per user or per app plans, or the Power Automate per user or per flow plans to continue using the Power Platform services. See https://powerapps.microsoft.com/en-us/pricing/>Power Apps licensing and https://flow.microsoft.com/en-us/pricing/>Power Automate licensing for more information. For any questions related to these changes please visit the https://dynamics.microsoft.com/en-us/pricing/>Dynamics 365 website, reach out to your Microsoft representative or your Microsoft partner to learn more.
