Updated July 23, 2020: Gradual roll out of the new Planner experience in Teams is scheduled to begin in the next few days to all non-Government tenants, worldwide. Roll out is expected complete by early September, after which the Planner app in Teams will be renamed to "Tasks". All users will see a banner announcing the new experience. The initial roll out will only affect Planner in Teams desktop and Teams web. A mobile version of the "Tasks" app in Teams will roll out after desktop/web roll-out completes.Note: We will communicate via Message center separately once we are ready to proceed with Government tenant (GCC, GCC-High or DoD) roll-out. The Planner app in Teams will become the Tasks app. Users will now be able see their individual tasks and team tasks in a single app. We?re also introducing both a list view and a new mobile tasks experience within the Teams app for mobile devices. The Planner app will be renamed after the rollout is complete, as described below. We will begin roll-out in July and expect to be complete in September.
