explanation for non-techies**

Microsoft 365 has introduced nine new connectors for its Copilot feature, which allows users to integrate data from various external systems like GitHub, Freshservice, Guru, Dropbox, Google Drive, Zendesk, and Amazon S3 into Microsoft 365 applications. Imagine Copilot as a helpful assistant who can now reach into different rooms (external systems) to gather information and bring it back to you in one place. This makes it easier for users to search, retrieve, and interact with their enterprise data, no matter where it is stored.

These connectors are like bridges that connect different islands of information. For example, if your team uses GitHub for software development, Dropbox for file storage, and Zendesk for customer support, Copilot can now access data from all these platforms. This means you can ask Copilot questions about your GitHub issues, Dropbox files, or Zendesk articles, and it will provide answers by pulling information from these sources.

For managers and HR staff, think of this as having a personal assistant who can quickly find and summarize important documents and reports from various departments, saving you time and effort. Instead of manually searching through each system, Copilot does the heavy lifting, providing you with the information you need in one convenient location.

Admins managing these connectors will need to ensure they are set up correctly, with the necessary permissions and authentication in place. This is similar to making sure that each bridge is sturdy and secure before allowing traffic to flow across it. Once set up, users can enjoy seamless access to a wealth of information, improving productivity and decision-making across the organization.
