This additional information could help you interact more effectively with them.

Microsoft 365 is doing something similar with its profile cards. These are the digital equivalent of that address book, providing basic information about users within an organization. With the new feature, administrators can add up to 10 custom properties to these profile cards, sourced from external systems like HR platforms. This means that beyond the standard information, you could see additional details like a colleague's department, their current project, or any other relevant organizational information.
