explanation for non-techies**

Microsoft is introducing a new feature setting called "preview and experimental AI models" in Microsoft Copilot Studio. This setting will be available starting August 29, 2025, and it will allow administrators to manage which preview and experimental AI models are available in their environment. Think of it like a movie director choosing which scenes to include in a film's preview. The director decides what to show to give the audience a taste of what's coming, without revealing everything. Similarly, this setting lets administrators decide which AI models are available for testing and experimentation, without affecting the current AI Builder experiences.

To access this setting, administrators need to go to the Power Platform admin center, select an environment, and navigate through the settings to find the option for preview and experimental AI models. It's like a manager going through different departments in a company to find the right team to handle a specific project. This change is mainly for awareness, and no immediate action is required from users. If more information is needed, there are resources available to guide users on selecting a primary AI model for their needs.
