Updated March 18, 2021: Please ensure you have reviewed and updated the External Networks setting to enable the experience you prefer for your organization.
As an extension of the current capability to collaborate with external networks, Microsoft is offering end users in Yammer networks associated with the EU geo the ability to participate and collaborate with External Networks hosted by customers with Yammer networks associated with the US geo. As a tenant admin of a Yammer network in the EU geo, you are receiving this message since your end users may be invited to join External Networks of other customers’ Yammer networks hosted in the US to collaborate.
With this feature release, the end users of EU based Yammer Networks associated with the EU geo will now be able to participate in US based Yammer External Networks of other companies associated with the US geo. This means that users of your tenant will now be able to be invited to and participate in External Networks of other companies.
