Updated July 10, 2020: We have temporarily rolled back the default page templates feature to address an issue that prevents customers from correctly setting default templates in their sites. This will only affect customers in our Targeted Release program. Due to this rollback, the ability to set a default template will no longer be available in your tenant. All set default templates will revert back to the Blank template. Please inform site owners and content creators in your organization. We apologize for the inconvenience and look forward to start rollout again once the issues have been addressed. There will be an announcement in the message center when we are ready to roll out default page templates.
Default page templates allow site owners to set a default template for all editors who are creating pages and news on their site.
