Imagine you're preparing for a big court case or an important business meeting. You have a stack of documents to review, notes to go through, and key points to remember. It can feel overwhelming, especially when you're jumping from one meeting to the next without much time in between. Now, think of Copilot in Outlook as your personal assistant who helps you get ready for these meetings quickly and efficiently.

Copilot is like having a diligent assistant who reads through all the documents, notes, and emails related to your upcoming meeting. It picks out the most important details and summarizes them for you, so you don't have to sift through everything yourself. It's like having someone who can give you a quick briefing on what you need to know, similar to how a legal assistant might prepare a lawyer with the key facts and evidence before stepping into the courtroom.

Additionally, if you have specific questions or need more detailed information, you can chat with Copilot directly. It's like having a conversation with a knowledgeable colleague who can provide insights and clarify any doubts you might have. This feature is particularly useful for those who use classic Outlook for Windows, as it brings the same capabilities already available on other platforms like the web, Mac, and mobile.

To use this feature, you need a Microsoft 365 Copilot license, which is akin to having access to a specialized tool or resource that enhances your productivity. Just as a lawyer might rely on legal research databases or a manager might use project management software, Copilot is a tool designed to streamline your meeting preparations and ensure you're always ready to engage effectively.
