MC256835 (Updated) Adjusting Version Retention for Outlook Data Files (PST File Type) Starting August 16 2021, we'll be introducing new retention policies for Outlook Data Files (PST File type) Versions to prevent them from consuming storage capacity for OneDrive SharePoint Online.
The new policy will limit the number of PST versions retained, resulting in greater storage capacity from PST version storage.
With this new retention policy, PST file versions will be retained for up to 30 days.
Updated May 18, 2021; We have updated the post to provide additional clarity. Thank you for your feedback.
The PST version retention policy changes are being introduced to address concerns around storage impact of PST versions and will ensure PST file versions no longer consume storage for extended periods. When PST files are uploaded on OneDrive for Business and SharePoint Online team site document libraries, Outlook constantly updates PST files generating multiple versions which leads to storage being quickly consumed by the multiple versions of the PST file. With these changes the service will always retain a minimum of 30 day worth of PST versions that can be restored from.

Note; These changes will have no impact on the actual PST file itself which will continue to be available.

Starting June 28th admins can download the latest version of the SharePoint Management Shell and start opting out using SharePoint Online Management Shell cmdlet provided below. You will have until August 16th to opt out.

Command; Get-SPOTenant/Set-SPOTenant
Parameter; DisableOutlookPSTVersionTrimming
Value; True - Opt-out to the versioning change.
False - default value

Note; We do not recommend uploading PST files due to the impact they have on network bandwidth and storage;

To prevent uploading .PST files from the OneDrive sync app, read 'https://docs.microsoft.com/onedrive/block-file-types' target=blank;Block syncing of specific file types .
To move .PST files out of OneDrive, read 'https://support.microsoft.com/office/how-to-remove-an-outlook-pst-data-file-from-onedrive-b6b9e522-59bd-40f7-949f-168d0aa9b38e' target=blank;How to remove an Outlook .pst data file from OneDrive .

MC257026 (Updated) Follow up to IT257168 ? Users unable to view passcode setup screen when enrolling devices through ADE You can allow/show biometrics such as TouchID (which also enables FaceID) which will then present the passcode prompt. We have posted this message to the https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/intune-customer-success/bg-p/IntuneCustomerSuccess Intune Customer Success blog as well and will keep the blog updated with the latest from Apple or if there?s any additional workarounds Intune can implement. Please refer to the https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/intune-customer-success/support-tip-users-unable-to-view-passcode-setup-screen-when/ba-p/2366246 blog post for any service updates on this known issue. While we originally suggested using biometrics to present the passcode prompt, we instead recommend you use a device configuration or compliance policy to configure the passcode and the user can set the passcode once enrollment has completed. MC254894 (Updated) New Guide: Discover and configure sites that require IE mode Currently, you must manually configure Enterprise Site Discovery which involves many time-consuming tasks. If you're using Group Policy, you can't easily review site compatibility detections and other information to help you determine what sites you should include in your site list. If you're using Configuration Manager, you can review more details from your collected data, however you'll need to add sites to your list one at a time using the Enterprise Mode Site List Manager, as this tool will not accept an .xml file exported from Configuration Manager.
The Configure IE mode for Microsoft Edge assistant provides an easy-to-use interface and tools to discover sites and create a site list for IE mode in Microsoft Edge;
For admins with Configuration Manager, you?ll use the guide to generate a customized script that;
Automatically completes IE telemetry class configuration.
Downloads the Site Discovery and ActiveX reports and updates them with your Configuration Manager environment information.
Creates a package for clients containing the Internet Explorer telemetry files.
Automatically distributes the package to the distribution points and groups you specify.

For admins who don?t have Configuration Manager, the guide generates a script that;
Creates a new Group Policy Object (GPO) in the domain-level Group Policy.
Turns on .xml file site collection and configures the specified filename and path on targeted clients.

Regardless of the management tool, you can use the built-in site review tool to upload collected site data from an .xml file and complete the following;
Review compatibility detections and IE mode recommendations.
Sort and filter sites by detection, zone, and configuration status.
Bulk configure IE mode and neutral site behavior with minimal effort.
Export your site list to an .xml file that?s ready to be deployed to your users.
