MC207547 Co-editor chat access directly from Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents has been retired Once the change is implemented, when multiple people are in a document at the same time, you will continue to see names of co-editors at the top right of the document window, but the ability to initiate a Chat with one of the co-editors from this location will no longer be available.
Depending on admin settings, some users of Word, Excel, PowerPoint for Windows may continue to see a Join Chat entry point for document co-editors that launches a Skype or Teams application window when clicked or tells the user Chat is unavailable.

MC207933 Full screen experience in Microsoft Endpoint Manager/Intune We announced in MC180431 in May 2019 and MC199921 in January 2020 that we were rolling out new create and edit UI experiences to Intune. The new experience simplifies the existing workflows by using a wizard style format condensed within one blade. This update will do away with ?blade sprawl? or any create and edit flows that require you to drill down into deep blade journeys.
How does this affect me?
The full screen experience will continue to be rolled out to Intune both in the https://devicemanagement.microsoft.com/#home Microsoft Endpoint Manager admin center and the https://portal.azure.com/#blade/Microsoft_Intune_DeviceSettings/ExtensionLandingBlade/overview Intune on Azure portal, in the next few days. This update to the UI will not impact functionality of your existing policies and profiles, but you will see a slightly modified workflow. When you create new policies, for example, you will be able to set some assignments as part of this flow instead of doing so after creating the policy. You may find that some settings and options have been renamed but this does not impact functionality.
See the blog post at Additional information for screenshots of what the new experience will look like in the console.
What can I do to prepare for this change?
You do not need to take any action but can consider updating your IT pro guidance if necessary. We?ll update our documentation as this experience rolls out to various blades in the console.

MC207547 Co-editor chat access directly from Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents has been retired Updated March 26, 2020; Several days ago we announced that the ability to initiate a Chat directly with a co-editor of a Word, Excel or PowerPoint document would be retired over several weeks beginning mid-April (across web, Windows and Mac versions of Office). However due to continued issues with the feature, we made the decision to pull the retirement date in, rather than continuing to enable the current experience.
Moving forward, to communicate with others working in Office documents, we recommend using document Comments when you want to attach a comment to a specific selection within a document (on the Review tab on the ribbon), and Microsoft Teams Chat when you want to communicate with others immediately.
Updated April 1, 2020; Based on customer feedback we have updated the message for clarity.

MC200501 Updated Feature: Microsoft Stream cloud recordings Updated February 19, 2020; We are updating the roll-out timeframe to ensure the best experience. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Updated February 13, 2020; We have updated the post to emphasize the default state once this change is made.
Meeting recordings are stored in Microsoft Stream cloud storage. Tenant admins have an option to go the Microsoft Teams admin center to turn ON/OFF ?Allow cloud recording? setting for Teams meetings. The recording feature is currently disabled for customers whose Teams data is stored in-country if Microsoft Stream is not available in country. We will be changing this configuration by enabling the recording feature for customers even if Microsoft Stream data residency is not yet in country.
Once enabled ?Allow cloud recording? will be OFF by default. This roll-out will respect existing settings.
We will begin rolling this change in mid-March (previously February) and expect to be complete by the end of April (previously March).
Note; This change applies to Teams meeting recordings only. There is a plan for implementing a similar change for Teams live events, and we will communicate via Message center when available.

Updated April 3, 2020; Based on feedback and analysis we have decided to not roll out the feature at this time. We are working on improvements to provide more control. We will communicate via Message center when we are ready to move forward. We apologize for the inconvenience.
