Updated June 30, 2020: Based on learnings from our early rings, we have made the decision to make additional changes to the code before we proceed with the full rollout. We will update this Message center post with additional details in the future. Thank you for your patience.
We’re continuing to optimize page performance for publishing-enabled SharePoint sites that use structural navigation with a caching model as outlined in MC194438 (October 2019).
We'll gradually begin rolling this out to customers in late March 2020.
The rollout will be complete in late 3rd quarter 2020 (previously June).
